As Americans try to forget about economic troubles and the credit crunch, the automotive industry is trying to make the best of a bad situation. Leading automakers are attempting to keep morale high by preparing auto shows to present their new 2010 car models for sale in the U.S. The first auto show presenting 2010 models will be held this year.
LA Auto Show
The first of the major American auto shows will take place in early December in Los Angeles. Organizers have already confirmed that there will be over 1,000 vehicles, including several World and North American debuts. Expect to see the latest models of
cars for sale in the USA from Audi, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Porsche, and Toyota. The LA event is known as the 'greenest' of American auto shows, so expect many hybrids and other alternative fuel vehicles. One will be given the 2010 Green Car of the Year award.
The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS)
The NAIAS will be held in January 2010 at Detroit's newly renovated Cobo Center. Organizers have promised 60 new vehicle premieres, more than debuted at the last show. The 2009 show hosted 650,000 visitors, including 5,387 journalists from 49 countries. In fact, the NAIAS draws the most press in North America, which is why auto makers cannot afford to miss this event. The show is divided into four stages: press preview, industry preview, charity preview (profits from that day will benefit children's charities), and the public show, which lasts 9 days.
Chicago Auto Show
The 2010 Chicago Auto Show will take place between the 12th and 21st of February. Organizers have planned a Women's Day on February 16th where women will be admitted at reduced prices and manufacturers will present special 'women-oriented' programs on cars for sale. It is too early to predict the exact number of debuts and exhibitors, but there will certainly be plenty to see in the 1.2 million square foot McCormick Place Complex where the show takes place. The 2009 event featured almost 1,000 vehicles, including passenger cars and trucks, sport utility vehicles, and racing and concept cars.
The New York International Auto Show (NYIAS)
The NYIAS It is the most popular auto exhibition in the U.S., with more than 1,000,000 visitors expected next year. The event will take place in the beginning of April at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. The New York Auto Show is known for its original opening displays.
All of these shows will provide an opportunity to see the latest
cars for sale in the USA, including those that have just been launched and those that will be in dealerships soon. If you are interested in the latest achievements of the automotive industry, you should attend one of the events. You will have a great opportunity to sit in and explore cars that will be for sale in the U.S. in months to come.
